December Fundraiser at Blaze Pizza
We are happy to announce that our December Restaurant Fundraiser will be at Blaze Pizza restaurant! Just print out the flyer from our website here (you can bring in the paper flyer, or show it on your smart phone before the cashier is finished ringing up the order), and take it to Blaze Pizza in Hawthorne at 5221 Rosecrans Ave, Hawthorne, CA 90250 on Thursday, December 8th from 6pm - 9pm. 20% of your check will be donated back to our boosters! Dine-in, take out or catering all apply. Thank you to all the families who participated in the El Gringo fundraiser in November.
CPK Gift Cards Continues!
CPK is once again on board to help us raise funds, this time with their wonderful gift cards. Great for birthdays, the holidays or just to take your family out to dinner! They give us 20% back, as always. Use this link to make your purchases and the orchestra boosters will automatically receive our percentage. FYI: the gift cards are good in other states, too. So, if you have family and friends in other states, share this link with them. If they buy the gift cards through this link, the CPK donation will go towards our boosters.
The Sees Candy Fundraiser Continues
Our Sees candy fundraiser is in full swing! This is a great way for students to fundraise for their individual Bay Area Orchestra Exchange trips. If you have already paid in full for your student's trip and your student wants to participate, their credits will be reimbursed to you. The way the fundraiser works is as follows: if your student wants to participate have him or her come to the orchestra room on Mondays or Thursdays during nutrition - 10:00 - 10:30 - with $20.00 per bag of 10 bars (cash or check made out to MBX). The flavors in the bag will be mixed with milk chocolate, milk chocolate with toffee, and a dark chocolate with almonds. They will sell the bars at $2.00 each, receiving a $1.00 credit towards their trip for each bar sold. It's a 50% profit, which they get to keep toward the cost of the trip. They can purchase from 1 to 4 bags at a time. Any parent able to assist Ameena Wasi on Mondays and/or Thursdays from 10-10:30 with distribution would be greatly appreciated.
